10 Teams to Win Today

Ten favourites picked for one slip each day, with the odds, the reasoning and the real chance of every leg winning.

Ten Teams to Win, Picked Daily

On this page we publish a slip of ten teams to win from the day’s fixtures. Each leg shows the league, the match, the team we back and the odds, and the slip shows the combined price you can expect at a bookmaker. Our first slips go live here within the next few days, and until then this guide explains how we build them and what to expect from a ten-leg accumulator.

It is an accumulator, also called an acca. Each team must win, and one wrong pick sinks the whole bet. The attraction is the big price, because the odds of every leg are multiplied together. Ten legs at 1.20 pay about 6.19, ten legs at 1.30 pay about 13.79 and ten legs at 1.50 pay about 57.67.

We choose legs from favourites at short prices, check the team news for each, and leave a slot empty when a match does not meet our standard. We would rather publish a shorter slip than fill ten places with weak picks.

How We Pick the Ten

Four checks every leg goes through before it joins the slip.

A Clear Favourite

The team must be a clear favourite on form and on price, not a side in a close match priced at 1.80.

Team News

We check injuries, suspensions and expected squad rotation before we add a team, because one rested star can change a price.

Mixed Leagues

Spreading legs across different leagues and kickoffs lowers the chance that one cause hits several picks at once.

Match Importance

Cup ties and dead rubbers change how hard teams play. We prefer games where both sides want the result.

The Chance of Every Leg Winning

Compare a five-leg slip with a ten-leg slip at the same odds per leg.

1.3026.9%7.3%13.79
1.5013.2%1.7%57.67
1.805.3%0.3%357.05

Assumes the chance of each pick equals 1 divided by its odds, with no bookmaker margin. Real chances are slightly lower.

Read the last column with care. A big payout comes with a very small chance of collecting it, and the bookmaker margin makes the real picture a little worse.

Shorter Slips, Better Odds of Winning

The same 1.30 favourites, with fewer legs on the slip.

Chance is 1 divided by the combined odds, before the bookmaker margin.

A three-leg slip of the same favourites wins almost half the time. The ten-leg version wins fewer than one time in thirteen. That is why we publish the full slip and also point out the safer three and five leg versions you can take from it.

How the Bookmaker Margin Grows

Every price includes a margin, which is the bookmaker’s built-in profit. On a single bet that margin is small enough to ignore. On an accumulator it is applied to every leg and multiplied.

As an illustration, if each leg carries a margin of about 5 percent, a ten-leg slip pays roughly 40 percent less than the fair price would suggest. That is why comparing prices at two or three bookmakers matters more on a long slip than on a single bet.

Does a Draw Break the Slip?

Yes. A “team to win” selection loses if the match ends level after 90 minutes. Some readers switch weaker legs to double chance, which covers a win or a draw.

That lifts the chance of each leg but lowers its price. A double chance leg often pays between 1.10 and 1.30, so a ten-leg slip built this way pays far less, even though it wins more often.

Mistakes We See on Long Slips

The most common error is adding a leg because the slip needs a tenth team. A weak extra pick at 1.60 cuts the chance of the whole slip by about 38 percent, and it adds only a small amount to the payout.

The second error is trusting names over prices. A famous club playing away at a tough ground can be priced close to a draw, and the price tells you more than the badge does.

What We Do Differently

We keep the slip short when the card is thin and we write down why each leg is in. If a team lineup changes before kickoff, we update the result honestly, even when the change hurts the record.

You will always see the date, the odds and the outcome of every leg, so a bad day stays visible next to the good ones.

How to Use the Daily Slip

Three habits that keep an accumulator fun and affordable.

1

Consider a Shorter Slip

Taking three to five legs from the ten gives a much higher chance of winning, at a smaller price.

2

Keep Stakes Tiny

Treat a ten-leg slip as a lottery ticket and risk only a very small part of your budget.

3

Check the Prices

Odds move before kickoff, so compare current prices at your bookmaker before you place the slip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Does 10 Teams to Win Today Mean?

It describes a ten-leg accumulator where every selected team must win. One lost match means the whole slip loses.

When Do You Publish the Ten Teams?

We add the slip in the morning, Bulgarian time, once lineups and prices are clear. The first slips are coming in the next few days.

Is a 10 Team Accumulator a Good Bet?

It pays a lot and wins rarely. Smaller slips of three to five legs give a much better chance, and single bets give the best chance of all.

What Happens if One Match Is Postponed?

Most bookmakers remove the postponed leg and pay the slip at the remaining odds, but the rules differ. Read your bookmaker’s terms before you bet.

How Much Should I Stake on a 10 Leg Slip?

Only an amount you would be happy to lose in full, because most of these slips lose. Treat it like a lottery ticket, not a plan for income.

Do You Publish the Results of Every Slip?

Yes. Every slip goes into the results archive with the odds and the outcome, wins and losses together.
